Jose Galvez was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and proudly carries his family roots from Monterrey, Mexico. A high-performance junior standout, Galvez climbed as high as the Top 35 in national recruiting rankings before taking his talents to Kennesaw State University, where he competed for two seasons. His collegiate career was cut short during the COVID-19 pandemic, but his passion for the sport remains a defining part of his journey. Off the court, Galvez is a self-proclaimed food enthusiast who loves reviewing restaurants and discovering new spots. He’s especially fond of The Chastain in Atlanta and the Marietta Burger Bar. An avid traveler, his favorite city to visit is Chicago, but home is where his heart is, especially with his loyal 18-year-old dog by his side.
