FAQ

What is INTENNSE?

INTENNSE is a new kind of professional tennis league—team-based, fast-paced, and built for both players and fans. It’s a modern take on the sport that puts strategy, energy, and connection at the center of the experience.

What makes INTENNSE unique?

We flipped the traditional tennis script.
INTENNSE is team-based, high-energy, and all about putting players and fans at the center.
Shorter matches, electric crowds, and a league format that keeps things fresh every week.

It’s tennis—but turned all the way up.

Where are the Teams?

Our founding teams are based in Atlanta, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
Each city brings its own vibe—and fan base—to the league.

How many players on each team?

Each team is made up of six pro players—three men and three women.

Being Gender Balanced is built into our DNA, and every player, regardless of gender, is paid the same. Every team also has a team captain, chosen not just for performance but for leadership on and off the court.

How long are the matches?

Each individual match—men’s singles, women’s singles, and doubles—lasts approximately 36 minutes, made up of three 10-minute BOLTS with 2-minute breaks in between (not including time-outs).

A full INTENNSE Battle runs between 115–124 minutes, featuring a complete clash between two squads.
That covers 90 minutes of gameplay, 15–24 minutes of in-match breaks, and two 5-minute intermissions between showdowns.

During the breaks, fans aren’t just waiting around—INTENNSE keeps the energy high with interactive fan activations, on-court moments, music, and giveaways. It’s a full-on experience from start to finish.

Who is coaching?

INTENNSE coaching brings serious firepower to the sidelines. For the 2025 season, Pascal Collard, Claudio Pistolesi, and Marcelo Ferreira are leading the charge.

Pascal’s known for building top-tier talent and runs one of the most respected academies in the U.S.
Claudio brings a wealth of ATP experience—he’s been in the trenches as both a pro and the coach behind top-10 breakthroughs. Marcelo? He’s got that sharp, tactical mind shaped by years of success at both the collegiate and pro level.

These coaches don’t just manage—they strategize, energize, and push their teams to bring the heat every single point.

How do I become an INTENNSE Pro Player?

To become an INTENNSE Pro Player apply through the official form
Matches take place across Atlanta, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Players receive a fixed salary plus prize money opportunities depending on the role they select.
Backup Player Spots: High-performing junior players and graduating seniors can apply for backup roles—an ideal entry point into pro tennis.

Full details on responsibilities and benefits are available in the [link].

What is the format of the matches?

INTENNSE matches run in three 10-minute BOLTS.
Each team dual includes men’s singles, women’s singles, and doubles matches. Doubles rotate by BOLT (men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles).

Teams have 2 minutes between each BOLT to regroup, with 5-minute breaks between matches for setup and strategy.

Want to give it a shot and become a part of the CHALLENGE TEAM?

INTENNSE will host a Challenge Series—a competitive platform designed to give rising tennis players the opportunity to earn a spot in the professional league.
The Challenge Team will face off in an exhibition match against a pro team inside the INTENNSE Arena, offering a high-stakes proving ground under the lights of one of tennis’s most exciting new stages.

Equal prize money will be awarded to the top three qualifiers in each gender category.
Full details on responsibilities and benefits are available in the [link].

What are the rules?

INTENNSE matches are played in three 10-minute intervals of nonstop action called BOLTS.
Each team gets unlimited subs and two 60-second timeouts per match to switch it up or swing momentum.

One toss, one serve—miss it, and you lose the point and the serve.
Players have 14 seconds to serve, and they don’t have to wait around—the returner doesn’t need to be ready.
Lets? We play them. It’s all about keeping the rhythm up and the energy wild.

Where do INTENNSE matches take place?

All matches take place at the INTENNSE Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The address is 3963 Redan Rd, Decatur, GA 30035.

There is parking available but carpooling is encouraged.
