League experiences 748% growth over first season
ATLANTA, GA – February 2, 2026 – INTENNSE™ today announced that registration for the 2026 INTENNSE Draft has officially closed with 373 players, including 229 male and 144 female athletes.
The 2026 Draft will see teams selecting 80 players across 10 teams, creating gender-balanced rosters of eight players per team.
The draft will take place on March 13 during the RacquetX conference at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The total marks a 748% increase from the league’s 2025 pre-launch, when just 44 players registered, reflecting a surge of interest as the league prepares to enter its second season this June.
“Recruiting players prior to our first season was a challenge—we lacked recognition and proof of concept," said Jean-Yves Aubone, INTENNSE Director of Player and Coach Relations. “Seeing this level of commitment now shows that players view INTENNSE as a legitimate professiona pathway where they can earn a living playing the sport they love in a supportive team environment.”
“The jump from 44 players to nearly 400 is a tremendous validation of what we’re building,” said Charles Allen, INTENNSE CEO. “There are thousands of professional players on tour, but fewer than 300 truly make a living from the sport. INTENNSE exists to change that by providing a competitive, sustainable environment where players can earn, grow, and thrive”.
This year’s draft pool includes a range of internationally experienced talent, including:
- Fabrice Martin – ATP Career Highs: Singles No. 228, Doubles No. 19
- Karue Sell – ATP Career Highs: Singles No. 258, Doubles No. 581
- Roberto Cid – ATP Career Highs: Singles No. 211, Doubles No. 262
- Noah Schachter – ATP Career Highs: Singles No. 654, Doubles No. 248
- Ema Burgic – WTA Career Highs: Singles No. 466, Doubles No. 145
- Usue Arconada - WTA Career Highs: Singles No. 130, Doubles No. 116
- Zoe Hammond – No. 1 singles player, University of Kentucky
- Caroline Driscoll – Three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete
“The depth and diversity of this player pool is remarkable,” said Barry Fulcher, INTENNSE Commissioner. “We’re continuing to build a robust ecosystem that balances elite performance with genuine player opportunity. The 2026 season looks set to be an incredible showcase of what INTENNSE is all about, and we're excited to see our players and teams in action."
