ATLANTA, GA – July 10, 2025 — To encourage college tennis coaches to experience INTENNSE™ tennis firsthand, the League today announced a one-of-a-kind showdown: The INTENNSE League Dual: College Coaches Edition. Set to commence on July 26th, this innovative event will see 12 college coaches—six men and six women—step out from the sidelines and onto the court to compete.

Coaches who participate will have their expenses covered, receive an appearance fee, and play for their share of the prize money.
As INTENNSE prepares for its expansion in 2026 and moves towards establishing a college draft, coaches will play a pivotal role in identifying top talent capable of transitioning directly from NCAA competition.

“We want the college tennis community to see, feel, and get involved in INTENNSE, and we’re excited to engage directly with the coaches themselves - who are pivotal stakeholders in the college landscape,” said Barry Fulcher, Director of Competition. “We are keen to showcase that what we are building with INTENNSE is unique and a viable path for their players to pursue professional careers in the sport.”

With player well-being and career longevity in mind, the INTENNSE vision includes:

  • Salaries
  • Coaching, training, and travel expenses covered
  • A structured season and off-season
  • A sustainable, healthy lifestyle for athletes
  • Weekend-only play, allowing players to be home during the week
  • Comprehensive health benefits for full-time players
  • A direct pathway from NCAA to pro tennis via a college draft

Interested coaches can request a registration link via email at [email protected] and teams will be announced on Tuesday, July 15th.
