INTENNSE Week 6: STING 182 vs. FREEZE 152

INTENNSE Week 6: STING 182 vs. FREEZE 152

ATLANTA, GA – June 17, 2026 at 7 PM – The INTENNSE Arena at Assembly Studios in Atlanta, GA hosted STING vs. FREEZE in an Eastern Conference showdown.

The FREEZE had a strong start, building an early lead and putting immediate pressure on the STING thanks to a good start from Seone Mendez. However, STING responded with confidence, settling into the match and quickly swinging the momentum back in their favor.

The turning point came during the men's singles bolts, where Finn Murgett and Juan Carlos Aguilar both delivered outstanding performances. Their strong play helped erase the deficit and gave STING the boost they needed to take control of the arc. Tatiana Sasnouskaya was another standout performer, contributing across multiple disciplines and playing a key role in a complete team effort. From top to bottom, STING brought energy, intensity, and a high level of tennis.

For the FREEZE, it was a disappointing result against one of the league's top contenders. Karue Sell had a quieter night than usual, and the team was unable to generate the consistency needed to regain momentum after their strong start. Despite the loss, the FREEZE remain one of the league's most talented teams and will look to bounce back quickly.

With the playoffs approaching, this matchup had the feel of a postseason preview. Both teams have championship aspirations, but on this night it was STING that made the stronger statement with an impressive all-around performance.

STING Head Coach Natalie Pluskota-Hamberg:“We have had this marked on our calendar since the last time we played them. I’m just proud of the way the kids showed up. They played together as a unit.”

FREEZE Head Coach Simon Pritchard:“We’ve got to be more consistent going into next week.”
