INTENNSE Week 6: RIPS 175 vs. RIDGE 164

Both teams came out strong in a tightly contested matchup, with the opening stages featuring plenty of back-and-forth action.

RIDGE took the early advantage thanks to an outstanding performance from Sophie Chang, who came out on fire and put her team ahead after the women's singles. She was in excellent form throughout the night and gave RIDGE an early boost.

RIPS responded well in doubles, with Fabrice Martin providing steady leadership to help swing the momentum back in their favor. Aliona Bolsova also turned in a strong performance, making several key contributions as RIPS fought their way back into the contest.

It was an arc that could have gone either way, but RIPS held strong in the closing moments to pull out the victory.

RIPS Head Coach Torrey Hawkins: “I felt our guys played much better tonight. But hats off to Sophie Chang she gave us a lot of trouble. We just played the ball and not the score.”

RIPS Fabrice Martin: “It was very tight. I felt good in the men’s doubles so that got me pretty warm for the mixed at the end. We all feel good on court. So I think the key is to play our game and don’t think about the score or the time and we will be fine.”
