Hawk-Eye on the Main Court All Season Long
Non-stop action and consistent pace of play on the Main Court of the INTENNSE Arena was made possible this season through the league's use of technology from Hawk-Eye Innovations, a Sony group company, the global standard in electronic line calling and ball tracking. Hawk-Eye's Electronic Line Calling technology was recognized by tennis's international governing body in 2005, and the US Open became the first Grand Slam to ntroduce the system in 2006. Today it is the same technology trusted at the sport's biggest stages, including Wimbledon, the US Open, and the ATP and WTA Tours, and cross more than 25 of the world's top sports. With Hawk-Eye delivering precise, real-time line calls on every point, INTENNSE players compete with confidence in the call, and fans get the fast, definitive officiating they expect from elite professional tennis.
HawkVISION During Championship Weekend
Alongside officiating technology, Hawk-Eye will deploy HawkVISION, powered by Muybridge, to deliver an immersive broadcast experience during the Championship. By combining low-profile camera arrays with software-driven movement, the system captures unique angles with no moving parts or noise, bringing fans closer to the action. The low-profile arrays fit discreetly within on-court hoardings to avoid disruption to play, spectators, and athletes, and the modular design can scale from a bespoke in-built solution to a full stadium installation. The result is a seamless, real-time on-court perspective that mirrors what athletes see, delivering spectacular broadcast footage with zero disruption to players or spectators.
HawkVISION was adopted by the ATP Tour at the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, and Muybridge's arrays, deployed through an exclusive partnership with Hawk-Eye, were used across the 2026 ATP Masters tournaments after pilots at the Miami Open and Madrid Open.
"HawkVISION brings our fans into the action in a way that simply was not possible a few years ago," said INTENNSE CEO Charles Allen. "This is the same technology tennis fans have seen at all ATP Masters 1000 tournaments in 2026, and now it is coming to our Championship Weekend in Atlanta. We are proud to give our audience an experience that rivals anything in professional sports."
INTENNSE Championship Weekend is July 31–August 1. Fans are encouraged to secure seats early for the first chance to experience INTENNSE live.
